Wet Cooling Towers




Works based on the principle of evaporative cooling in which heat exchanger allows water and air to come in contact with each other and the hot water cools down as the latent heat of vaporization given off. Only small amount of water evaporates during this process of lowering the temperature of the hot water generated by industrial facilities and circulated throughout the cooling tower.

VIRIDIS Wooden Cooling Towers are realized in pressure treated timber. The lumber made of Chengal is most suited for our region here in South East Asia, carefully selected and treated for Cooling Tower use.





Hybrid (plume abated) Cooling Towers



VIRIDIS Hybrid Cooling Tower uses plume abatement technology in cold or humid ambient conditions in proximity of inhabited places, airports etc.

The combination of wet and dry systems when required to avoid visible plume has the further advantage of water saving.
